Our story

My love for fitness developed in college in 2015 when I took my first pilates class. I fell in love with movement and teaching - and I KNEW that I wanted to teach others to love it too. But, a month after my mom passed away from breast cancer in 2019, I got into a car accident that left me injured and unable to do the things I used to - like kickboxing, yoga, and weight lifting. I felt absolutely awful about myself and when COVID hit I took it as a reason to drink the year away. All the while, this cycle led me to gain 40 pounds in a single year and feel practically immobile.

Once I decided to get my life back, I realized how much I had missed out on that year. My health and my confidence drastically improved and I no longer got out of breath just trying to get off of the couch. I knew THAT was what my mom would want for me - NOT to watch my health plummet while there was something I could do about it.

After regaining the love for fitness that I held for years, I knew that I wanted to help other women do the same thing… get their life back and take their health into their own hands. This is the ground floor for Do More Fitness, a health focused approach through learning how to make food and movement fit into YOUR life.
